On Repeat | Psych-Rock

I’ve been living in psych-rock world lately, soaking up hypnotic music that’s generally more atmospheric than lyrical. I love the trance-like state these songs induce. Something in me anchors in the metronomic beat while other parts of my brain drift in the ether, untethered to words.

I liken it to shamanic journey, believing my subconscious is gathering ideas and hopefully some wisdom. Not sure if that’s really happening, but it feels good while doing it.

So, here’s a selection of songs I really dig—including the new Nick Cave and Daniel Romano singles, which aren’t psych-rock but still transcendental. Hope you enjoy.
